Digital Media Final - Part 2

"Self Portrait" again (It was the assignment, I'm not a total narcissist, really). First I did a rough sketch of myself in pencil then sharpie, then I scanned it into Illustrator and made a few adjustments and plopped in the colors, and finally I placed it in Photoshop and did some shading and such, mostly with an opaque brush.

Digital Media Final - Part 1

"Self Portrait" - Photoshop collage of things I like (or that are important to me) that I own or have pictures of (Sometimes I feel like such a hardcore rebel when I end a sentence or clause with a preposition).

I may have touched up some of the photos or adjusted color, but I didn't change much.

This and That from Basic Printmaking

First I learned Intaglio.
Then I learned about aquatint.
Last I learned relief (wood).

I'm actually a Mermaid

This is due on Tuesday for Intro to Digital Media. The assignment was to combine two of our own photographs (like, no stealing off the web) in Adobe Photoshop.

We're going to be in a book!

My illustration class is making a book. And by that I mean each of us is making our own four page story about our first or worst job and our professor is putting it together and sending it to Blurb

Here is my story. It reads bottom to top. Yes, it's supposed to look like a child did it.

Materials: Crayola crayon, photographs, Adobe Photoshop (to piece it together and tweak), and black sharpie (for the words).

Oh, and if you're interested in seeing my the whole book, with me and all my fabulous classmates, you can order it at http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1045663
