My husband, Michael's aunt saw this illustration and wanted something similar.  She really liked a particular photo that Zack Wussow took of her son, Alfred, attacking/joking around with Mike at our wedding.
I drew it in Illustrator and then had the good people at Minuteman Press print it.

East Hartford Workspace

I told you about the community studio I had at the University of Connecticut and then I told you about the studio space I made while living with my parents and then I got married and moved into an adorable little apartment with my new husband so now I'm going to tell you about the space we've created together.

We have a room in our apartment that has several names, including, but not limited to:
The Office
The Study
The Studio
The Craft Room
The Sunny Room

It's where we both go to get work done and to draw. It's where I go to work from home on these blizzard days when I can't get to the office in Massachusetts. It's where craft projects happen.

I can't really take credit for the setup; that was mostly Michael. It turns out he's really good at room layout and making a space work.

Going down the hall into the room.
Stash of combined sketchbooks & art supplies.

Our desks. Can you guess whose is whose?
